Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2 November 2026

This policy explains how Simplewallet OÜ processes personal data when you use SimpleWallet to create, manage and distribute Apple Wallet passes, including when you sign in with Google. The English version of this document is authoritative. If a translation differs from the English version, the English version prevails, subject to mandatory applicable law.

1. Who is responsible

Simplewallet OÜ, Estonian registration number 16922888, is responsible for the account and service processing described here. Our postal address and privacy contact are below.

2. Data we process

We process account and authentication data; pass content, images and recipient details you provide; subscription and billing records; and technical data such as IP addresses, logs, device registration identifiers and push tokens. Stripe processes payment-card details; SimpleWallet stores payment references and status, not full card numbers or CVC.

3. Sign in with Google

If you choose Google sign-in, we receive basic profile and authentication information, such as your Google account identifier, name and email address. We use it to authenticate you and manage your SimpleWallet account. We do not sell Google user data or use it for advertising. You can revoke access in your Google account.

4. Purposes and legal grounds

We process data to perform our contract with you: account access, pass generation, delivery, billing and support. Security, abuse prevention and service reliability rely on legitimate interests. Financial recordkeeping may be required by law. Optional analytics and advertising storage rely on your consent, which you can withdraw.

5. Recipients and international processing

Google supports sign-in and consent-based analytics, Apple supports Wallet and push updates, and Stripe processes payments. Hosting, content-delivery, email and error-monitoring providers may process data needed for their services. Processing outside the EEA is subject to applicable GDPR transfer requirements. Contact us for recipient and transfer-safeguard information. We do not sell personal data.

6. Storage and security

We retain information for as long as needed for the service, security, disputes and applicable legal recordkeeping duties. These purposes determine retention, including necessary backup copies. We use access controls and technical safeguards; no system is risk-free. Request deletion by email. Revoking an installation link does not remove a pass already saved on a device.

7. Cookies and site storage

Essential site storage supports sign-in, language and preferences. The consent dialog lets you refuse optional analytics and marketing storage. You can reset your choice by clearing this site’s cookies and storage in your browser; this also removes saved sign-in information.

8. Your rights and contact

Depending on the applicable legal basis, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, object to processing, and withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. Email contact@simplewallet.eu; we may need to verify account ownership. You may complain to the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate or your local supervisory authority.

9. Business-issued passes and changes

Businesses issuing passes are responsible for the recipient data they supply and for informing recipients about their own use of it. Contact the issuer about its pass content and Simplewallet about our service processing. We update this policy when practices change and show the revision date above.
